Mike Phelps is a Caterpillar Territory Manager - Large Electric Power and Marketing representative who partners with Caterpillar dealers to develop and expand their dealer footprint and the Caterpillar brand. After spending nearly 25 years working in Electric Power with 12 of those years specializing in paralleling systems, Mike knows what a systems solution is, how to integrate that solution and meet the customer’s needs. Whether working with the engineer, the consultant or the end user, Mike’s expertise in the application of the Caterpillar product from generator sets, Micro grids, to Transfer Switches or paralleling gear to controls, will provide the best value for a power solution. In addition to his extensive knowledge of the Caterpillar product, Mike has been a Caterpillar Rental Manger for two different Caterpillar dealers. Mike most recently has been involved directly with the dealer in the Large Engine Product line to provide engineered solutions. Mike also is certified as an instructor on Caterpillar products with the ability to give CEU credits.
